BIOGRAPHY.

      Ammon was born in Ancient Egypt to the pharaoh Cleopatra. He was the second son of Cleopatra's after her first son with Julius Caesar of Rome, but Ammon's father was Mark Antony of Rome. Growing up, he was always treated like the prince he was, and he was in line to become pharaoh if his older brother died. Being a happy-go-lucky type child, Ammon really had no interest in being pharaoh, and he wanted to just fool around and relax all day with the food, drink, and wealth that came with being royalty.      One night everything changed, though, when he was betrayed by one of his closest friends. At age 16, his friend got him almost black-out drunk on wine before coming onto him in a sexual manner, effectively seducing a half-conscious Ammon. The sexual acts his "friend" forced on him is how he got his first sample of DNA. One night after this traumatic event, he had a dream wherein the gods "saved" him from some big catastrophe, and he awoke in the middle of the night in his friend's form for the first time. This was how he discovered his talent.      At the same time, things in Egypt were growing worse and worse as the dream had predicted, and the Egyptian pharaoh was about to be overthrown, which was when his mother killed herself. Frightened by what would happen to him if he stayed, Ammon fled the palace in his alternate form and journeyed to Japan, where he heard of his dear home's capture by the Romans years later.      However, he did find solace in Japan, where he lived out his years until he was 20, serving as a swordsman for a man who took him in as a son. He was trained to fight properly by this man, and he soon found himself falling in love with his daughter, of which the man heavily approved. It was shortly after getting engaged that thieves came into the home and killed his fiancée and her father in front of him. The thieves captured him and kept him as a slave, using him for his body for a few months until Ammon was able to escape by using his new forms. He didn't shift back into his true form again for some time, finding it too traumatic to deal with those memories. After that, he knew how to get new forms and used that to his advantage throughout the years as he mourned the loss of all of his loved ones.      Soon, he began pouring his energy and time into learning a large number of things before traveling the world and viewing all it had to offer him. Hundreds of years passed by, and he was still too bitter to take another lover or get close to anyone, so he bought a plot of land by a river in Japan and made that his "ancestral" home, expanding it as he grew more and more wealthy. This wealth was made primarily by writing books about various subjects under a plethora of different names.      As of late, he has been shifting into his original form again for the first time in hundreds of years, and spends most of his time writing and researching in the luxurious conditions of his mansion home, or the local library, of which he is the main patron. When he goes out and wants to blend in, he uses the form Yamamoto Daichi, since it is healthy and exceedingly handsome without drawing too much unwanted attention. When he attends writer's meetings, he uses his author form Matsuda Katsumi, since it appears older and more professional.

PERSONALITY.

       Ammon's personality changes slightly with what form he's in since every form has its own purpose, but his true personality is a mystery to everyone but himself. Since he was often betrayed and lost the ones he loved, he makes sure not to get attached to anyone, even if he wants to. They'll just die on him as well, so what would be the point? For this reason, he acts very aloof and cold when someone gets too close, no matter what form he's in.       Since he just recently started to try out his original form again, he can feel a bit nervous and vulnerable, which keeps him from being too cynical about everything around him. This is the form where he can be the most true to himself, so he feels at home in it, though he is also scared because a lot of misfortune has come to him while using it.       Most of the time when you approach him, he'll be cold to you, which is the opposite of his former self back in Ancient Egypt, where everyone loved him. Back then, he was a happy-go-lucky prince with the world at his feet, but over time the world has chipped away at that benevolent spirit.       The thing he is most interested in currently is still the pursuit of new knowledge, which seems to be the only thing that can patch up his heart for a time. There are days when he becomes extremely depressed, though, and these are the hardest to get through. Since he's a natural extrovert forced to be an introvert, he is often so lonely he can't stand it, but stays away from getting close to people, as he doesn't want to get hurt. On the days when he's not researching or writing, he goes out in his everyday form and talks to random people on the street to get some sort of social interaction, in which he's almost always kind and sociable, impressing people with his gentlemanly behavior and his vast knowledge about nearly everything.       Even though people often ask him on dates, he always declines, too scared to get close. What would happen if he got close and they were taken away from him again? That's something he doesn't even want to consider.

SHAPESHIFTING DETAILS.

       Ammon's gift, given to him out of the "generosity" of the gods, is very specific to him and him alone. His only way of getting new forms is by ingesting someone's DNA and becoming a literal genetic clone. These genes can most easily be accessed by sex cells, since they are so concentrated, but there are many other ways of obtaining DNA. Most of the alternative methods are fairly unpleasant, since he doesn't exactly want to ingest a ball of someone's hair, or drink someone's blood. In general, the only thing that he's willing to ingest is a person's sex cells, since anything else is a bit gross. Clearly, it is much easier to ingest a fellow male's sperm than it is to ingest a female's eggs. For this reason, almost all of his forms are male.      Since he doesn't want to use his true form to gather DNA, he uses a different form. Ichirou Shinohara is the form he uses for this, and he travels around as a prostitute, which makes it easy to obtain as many forms as he desires. This doesn't happen very often at all, maybe once every 100 years or so, since he loathes the process.      This may seem like a nice gift, but since he is a literal clone he takes on whatever ailments or disabilities that the person might have. For example, if he ingests someone's DNA and becomes them without knowing they have bipolar disorder, he will also have bipolar disorder when in that form.      The other difficult part about this is that the bodies age like they usually would whenever he uses them, which is an incentive to change forms a lot. If he ages a certain form to 40 years old, he can live 100 more in other forms, only to come back to that initial form and still be 40. Put plainly, the form does not age when it isn't in use. In that way, he can live indefinitely if he keeps collecting healthy forms.      Changing forms takes a significant amount of energy, and happens in the course of about 30-45 minutes, depending on how different they are from the one he's currently in. As he makes the transformation, his eyes glow its golden color, which is why he'll normally close them (the only thing he can't change are his eyes/eye color). After that, he generally has to rest or at least take it easy for the rest of the day, since he feels very drained.

      In the unusual case that he gets injury in a certain form, cuts, bruises, etc. any form he switches into will also have that same injury (This does not apply to infectious diseases, though.). He can, however, heal quite a bit faster than a normal human due to his ability of creating new cells and DNA shifts. Healing up to full health takes a couple hours when he's injured (if he’s conscious), since he wouldn't have much energy to begin with, and afterwords he'll need to rest for a few days in a safe place. If he’s unconscious, it can take a few days for him to heal completely, since he's not actively exerting his energy towards generating cells.

BIOGRAPHY.

      At five years old, lycanthrope siblings Hiro and Lara lived with their parents at a hidden shrine/home hidden deep in the forest, and everything seemed to be completely fine until one day, their parents never returned from a trip to the human world that surrounded the thick woods they lived in. From then on, the two small wolf pups were left to fend for themselves, but were quickly accepted into the wolf pack that lived in the area as their territory. Hiro grew up for 12 years as nothing but a wolf, rarely turning into his human form, and completely confused as to what it meant and why he had one when the other wolves didn’t. The twins also stood apart from the rest of the pack because of their giant size, with Hiro standing at about 5’9” from paw to shoulder, and Lara measuring about 5’4”. Due to this abnormality, the two quickly became the leaders of the pack as they grew older, but they’d argue that they needed the pack way more than the pack needed them.      Growing up inside the pack meant being taught how to hunt, behave, and live as wolves. Whenever they would try shifting into their human forms, it would feel clumsy and awkward, so they simply never did so. Years went by like this until one day, when Hiro was about 17 years old, he was wandering about a part of the forest the pack never visited out of sheer boredom and curiosity and stumbled upon a shrine— one that seemed eerily familiar to him. Due to his intelligence and inquisitiveness, he explored the shrine, finding that it contained a few pictures of Lara and himself as human children, along with various other things he could just vaguely remember.       Of course for Hiro, who had grown relatively tired of the simple wolf lifestyle, it was the greatest thing he could have ever stumbled upon— though Lara didn’t seem too pleased. She was completely happy with life within the pack, and didn’t want to change something she loved so much. To her, being interested in anything human was like playing with fire, so she urged Hiro to stay away from the shrine. Disregarding her warnings, Hiro couldn’t help but be drawn to the shrine over and over again, gradually finding out more about their past and teaching himself how to read, write, and speak Japanese. All of it was so interesting to him that he began spending increasingly smaller amounts of time with the pack so he could read and study about their family, their race, and where their parents had gone.      Within about a year, he had learned Japanese fluently and had insisted to teach Lara so she could read different family documents or books for herself. Upon discovery of a certain letter that she found hidden within a pile of unimportant documents, they found out that their parents had likely been killed by humans that hunted lycanthropes and other creatures just because they were scared of them. At this point, Lara became extremely angry at the humans and wanted nothing to do with them, returning to life in the pack as normal and urging Hiro to do the same, but he refused. He needed to find out what humans were like and how they behaved, so he began dressing in old clothes he found in the shrine and walking about the nearest human city.       Needless to say, the wolf absolutely loved everything he discovered, since it was a whole new world to explore and learn about, so he spent an increasing amount of time in the city, picking up books and observing humans. He even went so far as to get a job at a local bookstore, at which the owner thought he was absolutely insane (but also very sweet), and it came to satisfy his constant need for things to read.       Currently, he still holds his job at the small book store and spends most of his time reading and writing journals by hand about humans and human behavior, which are incredibly well written. Hiro spends more time with his pack than he did when he initially found the shrine, but still only comes around for meals and sleep, which Lara hates purely due to missing his presence in the pack and worrying about him. There’s no bounds to his curiosity, though, so she knows she can’t stop her twin, no matter how protective she is. Lara hopes that his endless curiosity won't end up getting him in trouble, or even worse, getting him killed.

PERSONALITY.

       Very much an extrovert, Hiro is lively, kind, and ever-curious about almost everything, which can lead to some pretty awkward questions, as he doesn’t always know which subjects are off limits in human culture. All he wants to do is be with humans (or other races) and interact with them, even though he may do so unsuccessfully at times due to his startling naivety. He really doesn't understand such things like kissing, holding hands, small talk, shaking hands, or any weird little human behavior, though he does his best to learn. Even though he's read quite a bit on the subject of humans, he still is pretty clueless on how to approach, and will often ask questions that will make him stick out like a sore thumb. Even so, his heart is endlessly loving, honest, loyal, and forgiving, and he always gives people the benefit of the doubt, since he sees the good in everyone. Hiro is always up for anything, whether it be helping someone out, traveling to new destinations, talking to others, or exploring sights and smells that sometimes lead him into dangerous situations.       When it comes to romance, sex, or other more intimate subjects, he doesn’t know what to do or how to do it and needs guidance in order to understand how to be in a relationship. This is often a hard thing for those he likes and those who like him, as it stands as a constant obstacle in the way of effective communication between them. Generally, Hiro’s incredibly honest way of expressing himself counteracts that, though, since he says whatever he is feeling without hesitation. This leaves him completely unguarded and very easy to take advantage of.      His naivety is often the first thing that people notice about him, but he’s also exceptionally intelligent and learns things faster than just about anyone. The intellect he possesses leads him to be thoughtful, comforting, and even wise when need be, and his mind is constantly working on something, whether it is on topic or not.       He also has several characteristics and behaviors of wolves that transfer over to his human form. Some of these include: great teamwork skills, nuzzling, protectiveness, random wolf-like noises (like growling at someone he doesn’t trust), and scenting among many others.       In all honesty, Hiro is just like a huge pupper who will love you and follow you around no matter what if you interest his extremely intelligent mind and give him affection/attention. He's pretty much just a literal ray of sunshine.

WOLF FORM & SHIFTING.

      Hiro’s wolf form can either be the size of a normal wolf or huge, standing at approx. 5’9” from paw to shoulder and about 16’ long from nose to tail, which makes him large enough to ride for fairly long distances (picture the twin wolves from Princess Mononoke, except a bit bigger). His eyes are a gleaming emerald hue, and his fur is an incredibly soft, silky pitch black. He can decide what size he wants to be at any given time.      In this form, he is agile and blindingly fast despite his size, with incredibly sharp claws and teeth to match, which makes him an amazing hunter and an even more challenging foe. Fortunately, he sincerely hates violence, so the likelihood of him attacking anyone who isn’t a complete enemy is very low.      To shift into either form, it takes only a second, and it's so fast that if you blink, you’ll miss it. Shifting does take some energy, but not nearly enough to exhaust him unless he shifts more than four or five times during one day. When he shifts from human to wolf, his clothes fall off, and when he shifts back to human again, he's naked, so he's nude a lot.      If werewolf hunters or other bounty hunters see him, they’ll go after him immediately, thinking that he’s some sort of super werewolf or perhaps a demon. This is mostly because lycanthropes are so rare, Hiro and Lara may be the last ones left in Japan— or perhaps even the world. Of course, he doesn’t know this, so at first, he won’t know that he has to be so careful about when he shifts. At the shrine where he lives, Lara and him are safe, but once he ventures out into the world, he will be hunted indefinitely.

BIOGRAPHY.

       Born in a suburb of Yorkshire, England, James was raised by a single mother, Hettie, in a household below the poverty level. His mother had James out of wedlock with a man on holiday from Spain, Rafael. It was a short tryst, one that ended abruptly due to Hettie wanting to keep their child instead of putting it up for adoption. James was always more intelligent than his peers, getting into trouble with well-concocted schemes and reading whatever he could get his hands on. At school, he pretended to be from a family of means despite the fact that Hettie wasn't able to afford much as a single mother.       Due to his intelligence, he excelled in school and landed a place in one of the top schools in the country for business (London School of Economics), something he was always interested in. It was in London that he met Victoria, the 22-year-old daughter of the Van Doren family, who was studying philosophy at King's College London. The Van Dorens were a family from the old nobility in the Netherlands, and because he had always been attracted to wealth and power, he began pursuing her, still keeping up the lie from childhood about being from a family of affluence himself.       Victoria fell for his charm, and when he met her parents for the first time, they had something like a marriage interview for him. As was tradition in a family of former nobility, he had to have an aptitude for many things and blend in with high society. He passed with flying colors, and they were soon engaged to be married at the young age of 18. Soon after, the Van Doren family discovered he was not actually from a family of wealth and influence, but his wit, cunning, and intelligence only impressed them. Having found a suitable next head of the family, instead of calling off the wedding because of his lies, they decided to have it immediately. James took Victoria's last name.       As a result of family pressure to produce an heir, they had a child right away— Kai. James was only 20 at the time of his birth, and felt like his birth marked the end of his youth, making him dislike his son from the start. Soon after graduating from university with the highest honors, he was recruited by Nox Bank, founded by the Van Doren family hundreds of years prior, for a high-ranking position. Under his leadership, the bank saw massive success, and he soon rose to CEO. At the same time, he invested the enormous Van Doren fortune in stocks that multiplied in value, soon making them one of the wealthiest families in the world. Both he and Victoria worked tirelessly to keep up a reputation of being the perfect family, charming, stylish, and without a single flaw.       Having billions of dollars and endless influence changed him, making him believe he was so powerful that he was something akin to a god. He quickly got bored with having everything, turning to an edgier lifestyle behind his perfect family man façade. He moved their family to Tokyo for a few years during Kai's time in elementary school to foster relations with the yakuza there and became increasingly more involved in the criminal underworld because it intrigued and entertained him. During this time, he and Victoria agreed to an open marriage because they wanted to be with other people, but still needed to keep up their appearance of a marriage. The agreement satisfied both of them.       His biggest disappointment and failure was always his son, Kai, who acted out constantly. It was blatantly clear that he didn't have what it took to head the family, so around his 10th birthday, they had another child, one who would hopefully have the aptitude to lead, Vanessa. Although he was fun to toy with, by his teen years, Kai was becoming more and more unhinged, and reflecting horribly on the family. When he ran away at age 17, James was more than happy to cut ties, declaring, with his influence, that Kai had been found dead in the woods.       Now, he spends his time trapping and seeking people he deems interesting inside his web, toying with them, and delighting in their reactions. It's one of the only ways he's found to break the boredom he despises so much. He's still a father to Vanessa, but she bores him, so he doesn't involve himself with her too much.

PERSONALITY.

       When first meeting James, most will find themselves charmed by his incredible good looks, charisma, intelligence, and wit. On the surface, he seems like a decent man, and his act when "caring" for others and causes bigger than himself is almost perfect. He's an incredible actor and liar, thinking quick on his feet to tell everyone what they'd like to hear. He's silvertongued in a way that makes people trust that he's on their side. In reality, he only truly cares about himself and being entertained. The second he becomes bored, he will cut ties with people if he doesn't need to maintain relations for business purposes. Truly, he will do whatever it takes to get what he wants, even if it means ordering someone to be killed and tortured. He never gets his hands dirty, but instead hires people to do it for him with his endless money.       He's overconfident to a fault and obsessed with his appearance, wanting to appear perfect to everyone. He works tirelessly at being fit and retaining his youth, which has resulted in him looking younger than he actually is. Despite his hedonistic lifestyle, his other habits are surprisingly healthy. He eats well, exercises daily, and takes good care of his body. Perhaps that's what gives him the tireless energy to run Nox banks and still find himself bored, no longer enough to stimulate him intellectually.       He also does everything he can to protect his reputation, appearing at charity galas and other altruistic events. He's beloved in the eyes of his shareholders and business partners because of his large, frequent donations to charity causes. His public persona is more than enough to conceal his darker dealings with mafia partners.       In his free time, he reads, plays strategy games like chess, investigates and trades stocks, and attends philosophy lectures— anything to feed his overactive mind that never stops working, never stops mulling over schemes. His favorite pastime is certainly toying with and manipulating others. Having power over people is thrilling to him, and he feels like he deserves it, that he's the best at playing god. That's one of the reasons why he still watches his son, Kai, from afar, keeping loose tabs on him as he destroys himself. It's endlessly amusing to him that the man who shares his face has made such a horrible mess of himself. Should Kai return to LA, however, James will finish the job of pronouncing him dead and have him killed before he does anything that reflects back on the Van Doren family.       A quick way to get on his bad list is to bring up his mother or his childhood when he lived a life of poverty. He won't flinch when it's brought up, but he loathes to think of a time when he wasn't a "god."

BIOGRAPHY.

       The story of Kai and why he became a complete and utter asshole is a complicated one. He came from a super rich family and hated the hell out of his parents who wanted him to behave like royalty he is. Ever since he was a young child, he was absolutely prone to fucking things up.       Unfortunately, his parents had to deal with him acting up all throughout his childhood and teen years, causing them to get so sick of their son, who they probably never even came to love at all. He was constantly in trouble at school, but high school especially, where he was found dabbling in drugs or cursing out teachers. Most days he'd skip school and did whatever he was interested in at the time, which included thieving, drugs, sex, smoking too many cigarettes, and fixing up vintage cars.       Obviously this wasn't too good of a look for his family's reputation— a bloodline of nobles from the Netherlands— so when he decided to drop out of school and run away at age 17, they were delighted. He ran away to chase the absolute freedom he craved with every fiber in his being, which still remains one of the most important things in his life, if not the most important. Already skilled at thievery, once he was on the streets he was instantly both respected and hated, but mostly hated. He screws everyone over so it's no wonder he has to move cities every year or so. His consumption of alcohol and drugs can some nights be off the scale, especially since he can afford it.       He now lives alone in a single bedroom apartment that constantly smells of cigarettes— a habit that will no doubt end up killing him one day— and his cologne, but can generally be found out in about on shady street corners or bars, looking for new customers... or new people to prey upon.

PERSONALITY.

       Kai's simply a bastard to most people. He takes what he wants no matter what the cost, even if it means stealing, torturing, or killing. Maybe even all three, and if you throw in some booze and coke, the combination makes for his favorite type of night. Unfortunately, he's the type to mess with people just because he can or to prove a point, so many times his first meeting with people will be his last after he pisses them off and asserts his dominance.       —HOWEVER— there's a side to him that is actually decent if you take the right path with him. If he gets to liking you, he'll be fiercely protective, possessive, and affectionate if you can stand his extremely erratic and temperamental behavior, involvement in illegal activities, constant recklessness, and relentless sex drive. In many ways he is completely irrational and a single word can set him off, though there's always a reason behind it. There's certainly more to him than meets the eye.

       As a kid, Luka lived with his deadbeat uncle, never knowing when he'd have his next meal. He taught himself to be a hacker (F1UK3) to make money and excelled at it, but when he tried to make a deal with the mafia his uncle owed money to, he was tricked into working for them. Luckily, he ran away and has been on the run since.

BIOGRAPHY.

       Luka became an unethical hacker out of necessity instead of choice. Up until he was a teenager, he stayed with his uncle, who was in major debt and would use any money he earned irresponsibly. Every time he asked about his parents, his uncle would tell him a different story. One day, he would say they died in an accident; the next, he'd say they abandoned him; and on another, he'd say they were victims of a drug trade mafia boss. Luka grew up not caring too much about such trivial matters and spent most of his time wondering where he'd get his next meal. It seemed inevitable that he would try to make money on his own, and since he had a natural knack for computers, hacking came naturally. Within a year, he became a notorious hacker under the name of FLUK3.      Whatever money he made, though, his uncle would confiscate for gambling, and Luka would be back to square one. Eventually, Luka realized his uncle was holding him back and making him live a miserable life of never knowing when he'd have to take a beating from loan sharks, so he cut a deal with one of the them, who happened to be the head of a mafia group. If Luka promised to do whatever the mafia asked him to, they would forgive the debt and have their own personal hacker. Luka agreed to the terms and signed a contract. The next day, he found his uncle dead in their shared apartment.      For the next few years, Luka was forced to do whatever the mafia told him to despite the fact that they murdered his uncle. They kept him on a short leash, but he slowly made plans to escape. After what felt like an eternity of being the mafia's slave, Luka finally put his plan in motion and escaped the country. Now, he works for himself as an infamous hacker known all around the world and works as a graphic designer for his "day job". Although he escaped the mafia, he knows they will look for him forever, so he moves around a lot and doesn't tie himself down to one place.

PERSONALITY.

       Despite his awful childhood, Luka is naturally sociable with a strange kind of charisma. He loves to make friends wherever he goes and never minds playing the fool to make others smile. Whatever negative emotions he feels he tries to cover up with humor, but he's prone to anxiety and panic attacks, although they are very rare. To help cope with his anxiety, he smokes weed a lot. Luka is very clearly an ADHD child who can't sit still for more than a few minutes at a time, so he often does his hacking from a small laptop he can take anywhere. He always needs to be moving part of his body, like tapping his foot or shaking his leg. Whenever he sees someone he finds attractive, he'll try to play it cool and flirt with them but often ends up saying the wrong thing.       He makes a lot from hacking but often spends it quickly on expensive food, which is his favorite thing in the world, and there is nothing he will not eat. Luka is constantly broke but doesn't mind too much. His favorite genre of music is hyperpop, and he loves looking fashionable with his ear piercing and clothes. He always wears his favorite shades, even indoors, but it's secretly due to the fact that he's nearsighted as fuck and doesn't have any other prescription glasses. More than anything else, he wants people to like and accept him, and he can be easily hurt when they don't.

BIOGRAPHY.

       Noct is a true enigma, even to himself. One day, he woke up in the middle of the Sahara Desert with no memories whatsoever. All he knows about himself comes from the clues that were on his body at the time of his awakening. His clothes are that of a traveler— a wanderer— and are built for the desert. Despite his lack of memory, he still remembers some geography and how to survive in hostile climates, which is why he chooses to work as a guide in those environments for money.       Noct's true name is Nehetet, and he is the current inheritor of an Egyptian curse. Back when the gods ruled supreme, his family was cursed by the priests of Ancient Egypt to carry the god of chaos, Set, within their body. For all of their lives, the children of this family have had to condition themselves both mentally and physically, or else Set will tear through their bodies the second he enters them. If Set is let free in this day and age, no other gods would be there to oppose him and he would rule the world, which would essentially be the end of everything as we know it.       While training the new vessel of Set, the god of chaos is inside of an older relative until they can no longer handle him, and he, quite literally, tears them apart. Because of this, the new vessel has to be ready at any moment to take on the responsibility of the curse. Set is generally transferred to the new vessel at around 40 years of age, and it both changes their appearance and makes them age rapidly.       In Noct's case, however, his father was one of the weakest vessels the family had ever seen, and could only hold him within his body until Noct was 24 years old. Noct was the strongest vessel the bloodline had ever seen, so as soon as they saw Set emerging from his father, they brought him to the pair of alters where the transfer ceremony is performed. Although most vessels are kept in the dark about the ceremony and their dark fate, Noct knew what was about to happen after spying on his father's ceremony years earlier. Scared to death, Noct tried to run away, but the ceremony was still a success. Now, he had the Ancient Egyptian god of chaos Set inside of his body, boosting his abilities way past normal human limits       In a fit of rage, he slaughtered all the cultists performing the ceremony and ran into the desert. It was there that Set decided to wipe Noct's memories, hoping that he would find a way to escape his human bindings.

PERSONALITY.

       In general, Noct is a standoffish individual who likes to keep to himself— or at least since waking up in the desert. He doesn't know what his personality used to be like or who he used to be, which is a huge weight on his psyche. He's irritated easily, but won't fight unless provoked. One of his favorite phrases is "what a pain". All he really wants to do is find who he used to be and where he belongs.

VESSEL OF SET.

       As the vessel of Set, he is no longer a mere human. As such, his strength, speed, and stamina have increased exponentially. Noct can walk for days upon days without rest, but after he does, he requires a power source— life. In order to keep himself alive, he has to drain life out of other things, be they plant, animal, or human. He is unconscious of his ability until he pushes himself to his limit, and Set takes over his body, absorbing any life in the vicinity to keep him alive. For some particular reason, Set has taken a liking to Noct, but Noct doesn't even know he exists (varies by AU). Noct does, however, have bad dreams often and headaches when he tries to think of his past, along with a purple tattoo of an eye in the middle of his chest where Set was sealed inside. Because of Set, his eyes have turned lavender and his hair is a silver/white color. Like his predecessors, he ages quicker than most, but also absorbs life from small sources unconsciously, which keeps him on a normal human timeline. Why is Set keeping him alive? The world may never know.

       Born in Germany, Rein was dumped at an orphanage that abused him starting at age 5. The headmistress hated him due to his docile nature and often beat him. Despite the mistreatment, he did well in his homeschool studies. One day, he snapped and killed the headmistress, which created an alternate personality within him. To get away, he entered America as an illegal immigrant.

BIOGRAPHY.

       Abandoned as a small child to an abusive orphanage in Germany, Reinhardt's past still haunts him everyday. Growing up in the orphanage wrecked him mentally and emotionally, leading to his mysophobia, PTSD, OCD, and other psychological issues.       His years in the orphanage were hell— he was dumped there at age four by his parents, which is young enough not to remember anything but their blurred faces and the fact that they seemed happy when they were together. Apparently something went wrong, however, and he ended up at an orphanage in an an exceedingly poor Eastern German slum. While he was there, he endured way too much for someone of his age and temperament, constantly being the main one the headmistress picked on and abused, though many other children were often given similar treatment.       Starting from a young age, he was forced to be the cook for everyone who resided there, which later became one of his favorite things that he could at least find some solace in. The headmistress made him do this because she was too lazy to do it herself and she didn’t want to share her earnings with an employee. She also made Reinhardt do almost all of the cleaning and chores around the place, and if he didn’t do it to her exact specifications, he was brutally beaten or whipped. Despite this, he found solace in cleaning everything as well, since it gave him something to concentrate on other than how scared he was for the next encounter with her. Now, he has obsessive cleaning habits, regularly cleaning his apartment way too much and washing his hands until they bleed several times a day.       At age 18, he was finally allowed to leave the orphanage that had tormented him all his life, but not before brutally killing the headmistress with a kitchen knife due to being pushed too far and finally snapping under the psychological stress. Hurriedly, he ran from the scene of the murder and stowed away on a ship headed for America, where he now resides as an illegal immigrant. To pay rent for his apartment, he works as a waiter in a remarkably fancy and extravagant gourmet restaurant, which brings in a fair amount of cash for what he does.

PERSONALITY.

       When first encountered, Reinhardt will be very shy and closed off, though his kind nature still shines through. As he gets to know a person, he opens up little by little, giving them more and more of his truly caring heart. However, this does not come without a cost. After years of torture and abuse in the orphanage, he can sometimes be hard to console and manage. All he really wants is to feel safe and loved.       When under an enormous amount of stress or feeling threatened, he turns extremely violent, which is the exact opposite of his normal self. In this state, he is dangerous and unruly, and he remembers nothing of what he did when his episodes have passed. This happens very rarely, though, and he has to be in a truly dire situation for this to occur.
